Sounds like Marketing garbage to me. Chances are the game will come out and won't look that good or play that well.
Its pretty certain the Ps3 lost a lot of ground to the 360 in the last month or two.
i dare say when the price cut comes the Ps3 will have a surge but its not going to pick up big sales until Christmas 09 and by then the 360 will no doubt have another cut.
Its still anyones race. Lets just hope both sell well so we do see a PS4 and new xbox in the future. Gaming companies no matter who they are make our lives as gamers better and i personally wouldn't want to see any of them fal...

Agreed. Im not anti Ps3. I want it to sell well. The more they sell the bigger and better the industry will become. But to do so they need to get there butts in gear. This gen isnt the walkover the last one was. They need to realise that before its too late.

Doing well? The Ps2 had 60 percent of the gaming market within two years of release. The Ps3 has around seventeen. If loosing huge marketshare to Microsoft and Ninty is good then yeah there doing great.
The Ps3 whilst not exactly dying saleswise should have done better going by there previous machines.

They will no doubt be on here posting that Killzone2 only managed to shift 1.5milion units in its first week while boosting about the huge sales of halo and gears.

Ps3 is the most profitable. Yeah right. People on here are not obviously reading the actual financial reports correctly. Just take a look at Ubisofts... the xbox is 10million ahead of Ps3. Fanboys... can't you read or do you just make figures up?

Dead space actually sold quite well and hit a million quicker that LBP on the 360 alone.
Mirrors edge is a rental not a buy and LBP is a marmite game you either love or hate.
Games like Tombraider, Prince of Persia, Farcry2 etc will pick up sales in Jan when everyones had there fill of the big releases no doubt.
Basically the game looks like crap then and will probably play like it too. Sounds like the developers realise its going to be pants so are going to play the hype card just like free radical did with Haze.
